As a pet-sitter for over a decade, my love for animals has grown stronger with each passing year. Being able to capture their essence through my art has been a special blessing to me.

Welcome

My name is Pattie Beaulieu and I'm a professional pet sitter and artist. My medium is pastels, which I find are the best tools for combining precision with softness, detail of eye and fluffiness of the finest fur.

My animal portraits are as special to me as they are to their owners. I feel blessed by those who have entrusted me with the task of capturing the beauty and personality of their best friends. Please visit my gallery to see some of these wonderful pets.

Some originals are available for purchase, as well as prints and note cards from my pieces. Commissions for new portraits are always welcome.

A Little Bio

I have been a New England resident most of my life. Having a very high affinity for animals, I have worked as a pet-sitter for the past 14 years, inspired by my great love for my Yorkshire Terrier, Francine.

I graduated from Lowell High School and continued my art education at Middlesex Community College, the Massachussetts College of Art and Northern Essex Community College.

One particular class proved pivotal in my life: a pastel course where I was inspired and encouraged by a very gifted artist, Andrea Holland Hart. This led to a melding of my love for animals and my awakened artistic talent. In 2001 I began doing pet portraits and have found unlimited fulfillment in that work.

I am a proud member of the Arts Institute group of Merrimack Valley, Inc.
